Peopled’s immigration practice is led by Khatidja Moloo, Founder and Principal Lawyer at Lavender Law, who brings over a decade of experience in immigration litigation, refugee law, and admissibility issues. Called to the Bar in 2011, Khatidja has appeared before all levels of the Immigration and Refugee Board, as well as the Federal Court of Canada. She has also represented clients before the Immigration Division and Canada Border Services Agency, handling complex admissibility and enforcement matters with a focus on human rights and social justice.
Odessa Di Ponio is a Legal Assistant at Lavender Law, an immigration law firm dedicated to supporting both corporate and individual clients in their immigration journeys. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in International Development from York University and a Master’s degree in Migration and Global Development from the University of Sussex. Odessa brings strong legal research skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a client-centered approach to every file. Her expertise includes preparing legal documentation, supporting case strategy, and navigating complex immigration systems—making her a vital part of the compliance and case management team serving Peopled Canada’s clients.
Together, Khatidja and Odessa form Peopled’s dedicated in-house immigration team, managing all immigration services for our manpower and mobility projects across Canada and globally. While Lavender Law retains its legal independence, it functions as Peopled’s exclusive immigration partner. All client information is managed with utmost confidentiality and in accordance with professional legal standards.
